We’re on the lookout for enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join us as Peak Time Casual Staff. If you're available on weekends and school holidays and thrive in a fast-paced, fun environment, we’d love to hear from you!


We currently have exciting opportunities available in the following roles:

Aussie World Rides Operators

You must be a minimum of 18 years of age to join our Rides Team.

Whether you're looking for seasonal work or a more ongoing casual gig, we've got spots open. You must be available during our peak times, especially throughout the school holidays, when Aussie World is buzzing 7 days a week.

This role is perfect for students and anyone who loves being outdoors, soaking up that glorious Queensland sunshine, and creating unforgettable moments for our guests. As a Ride Operator, your mission is to make sure everyone feels welcome, safe, and most importantly—has a blast!

If you're keen to gain new skills, meet great people, and earn some extra cash while working in a fun and energetic environment, we’d love to hear from you!

Ride operator requirements:

  • Available to work weekends (Saturdays and Sundays), public holidays, the occasional evening event and school holiday’s
  • Enjoy working outdoors in the elements
    Have some previous customer service experience
  • Have a passion for smiling and engaging with people
  • Interested in the tourism and hospitality industry
  • Eager to learn new skills
  • Safety focused and committed to your work
  • Have own transport
  • Paid training will be provided to successful applicants

Bar & Gaming Attendants

We’re on the lookout for experienced bar legends with TAB and Gaming know-how to join our energetic crew!

If you’ve got the skills to sling a great drink, manage the gaming floor like a pro, and keep the vibe buzzing—we want you on our team. While your main game will be bar, gaming, and TAB, we love a team player, so being open to jumping into functions and bistro shifts is a big plus.

Bring your A-game, your friendly attitude, and a passion for great service—and get ready to work in a fast-paced, fun-loving environment where no two days are ever the same.

To be successful you should have:

  • Sound bar experience and great understanding of alcohol (beer, wine, and spirits)
  • Gaming, TAB and cash handling experience essential
  • Positive attitude and exceptional presentation
  • Excellent customer service skills
    Ability to work effectively in a team situation
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Current RSA and RSG essential
  • Must be available 7 days, day and evening shifts and public holidays

CASUAL ENTERTAINERS

Do you sing, dance, or light up a room with your personality? We’re searching for confident, energetic performers to join our entertainment team on a casual basis!

Whether you’re a stage star, a roaming character, or a master of spooky surprises, we’ve got a role for you! You could find yourself bringing the chills in Mayhem Maze, bending reality in the Illusionarium, or stepping into character as Prince Charming, a fearless Pirate, a fabulous Princess, or even something straight out of a horror film.

If you’re outgoing, love to make people smile (or scream!), and want to be part of a team that brings Aussie World to life—we want to hear from you!

AUSSIEWORLD_ENTERTAINMENT_THEMEPARK

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Be 18 years +
  • Have a talent for entertaining, a feel for fun and a passion to engage with people
  • Have some vocal and dance ability, strong improv skills for character roaming within the park
  • You must be energetic, have great customer service skills and perform with pizazz.
  • Off peak season 2-3 hours per shift on weekends 2-3 hours per shift (and other shifts if you are available during the week as well)
  • All performers must possess great performance charisma and be adaptable to perform roles from horror to fairytale.
  • During peak season there may be up to 3-6 shifts per week (eg over the school holidays) – from 4-7 hours per shift
  • Must have own reliable transport
